Dr. Rani Desai is an Executive Coach, Facilitator, Assessor, Leadership Consultant, and an Investigator in matters arising out of unethical conduct. She comes with 3 decades of experience in Human Capital Management across diverse, multi-cultural and international environments. She has been in leadership position and has sound understanding of business and has held Global Head Human Resources positions. She has been a member of executive committee of various business leadership teams, and have sound understanding of business.
Her experience spans across multiple industries in manufacturing and services industries like niche software engineering technology, automobile engineering design services and others with some of most prestigious Indian Global Corporates.
Her last assignment was with Deloitte Consulting as Chief People Officer, where she played strategic role in designing and executing plan for building leadership pipeline in line with the business growth plan of the Firm, as well as in building and strengthening leadership competencies of leaders, in the Partner Matters Office of Deloitte.
She is an ACC (Associate Certified Coach), Marshall Goldsmith Certified Coach and part of MG25 India A Marshall Goldsmith’s initiative of ‘pay forward’. She has over 10 years been a coach to C-Suite Executives and senior management leaders and has demonstrated credentials.
She is passionate about working with women leaders and women empowerment. She is a career coach to leaders including women. She is on the committee of Confederation of Indian Industries, Western Region, she has contributed to building relationship between academia and industry, she has pioneered studies to on enablers to encourage women participation in the workforce.
Dr. Rani Desai is a part of the core committee member of UN GCNI. She had led the design and execution of the 1st. and 2nd Gender Equality Summit. Rani is on Advisory Board of a Social Enterprise. She has published articles and posts, empirical research papers and has featured in print media. She is invited as a speaker at events, and also as guest faculty in Business schools.
