Sandeep is a finance professional by qualification with diverse experience in finance and business leadership roles in to multiple geographies across the Asia Pacific, in industry segments such as FMCG, Media, Pharmaceuticals and Lifestyle products. Sandeep spent almost 10 years outside the country with a European FMCG company - 2 CEO stints over 6 years (Sri Lanka and Indonesia) and 4 years as Regional Finance Director (Asia Pacific) based in.
Sandeep’s work in strategy consulting is very focussed on execution helping companies move along their strategic roadmap and includes interventions around route to market, portfolio optimisation, operational efficiencies, cost savings and also around behaviours and organisation re-design to deliver on their transformation/change management agenda.
Besides, Sandeep also works extensively in the scale-up/start-up ecosystem, as a mentor, investor and a diagnostic panel member with various incubation setups. In the start-up ecosystem, Sandeep works across multiple domains - from rural, agri/agri-tech and impact space to start-ups offering technology solutions for digital transformation.
During his corporate career, Sandeep has worked with Perfetti Van Melle, HT Media (Hindustan Times), Gillette and Ranbaxy. In terms of qualifications, Sandeep is a chartered accountant and a certified internal auditor, which has been supplemented with various executive management programs. On the coaching and facilitation side, Sandeep is a Marshall Goldsmith certified coach, Peter Hawkins certified systemic (and team) coach, ACC credentialed ICF member, qualified NLP practitioner, a certified HOGAN assessor and IAF member facilitator. Sandeep sees himself as a life-long learner and has over the past years, build competencies in digital marketing, business analytics, innovation and design thinking, which he draws on extensively across his assignments.
