With new generation of banking customers that the bankers have to deal with every day, understanding concepts of digital marketing will help bankers to understand the expectations of customers, do brand building and connect with them better in this new digital age. The program has been designed as learning journey for 45 days with 2 days of workshop on December 7-8, 2018 at the State Bank Institute of Leadership, a global CoE in BFSI segment.


The convergence of telecommunication, media and computing has transformed consumer behavior. The ‘new normal’ presents a plethora of opportunities; however, it equally poses threats. Consumers in the digital age demand agility and personalization; marketers in the digital age constantly need to 'learn and 'unlearn'; marketing in the digital age means listening. This Program has been designed for new-age marketers who believe that data driven decision-making is the key.


This Program has been designed to provide a solid foundation for marketers who are new to digital marketing or to those wanting to broaden their understanding.


The Program will focus on sharing the latest trends and best practices. It will provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience on how to plan, implement and measure a digital marketing strategy; it will focus on how brands can effectively create awareness; generate qualified leads and ultimately drive sales and superlative customer experience.

Ami Shah
For over a decade and a half, Ami Shah has been involved in the profession of creating brands, managing customer expectations & creating demand for complex solutions. An engineer by training, and a marketer by choice; Shah has worked with B2B and B2C companies across different industry sectors in India and Southeast Asia.

Presently, she is associated with IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta as a visiting faculty for Digital Marketing courses. She has authored several business cases that are published in Harvard Business Publishing and Ivey Publishing. Ms. Shah is serving the Ministry of I&B as an advisory panel member on the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC); and is also a mentor at L-Incubator, an incubation center at IIM Lucknow.
